Q: Where can I find parts for a Dodge Challenger other than ebay?
I want to restore my Dad’s old Challenger, it’s in pretty bad shape. I thought it would be great to drive his first car.
A: Pepboys,local Dodge car dealer,etc.
Q: What are the main differences between the new Dodge Challenger and the Dodge Charger?
other than looks, the V8 SRT8 for each make about 42something horsepower with lots of torque.
but other than the fact that one is a sportier coupe and the other is a large sedan, what is the difference. Im asking b/c Im thinking about buying one next year.
Currently I drive a 1999 Camaro, which one would I like more; the Charger or Challenger?
A: Charger has 4 doors and is not very pretty. Challenger is just to huge for a two door coupe. I think they both suck.

I want a plum crazy challenger, but seeing as this is my first car, I can only afford an SE. Will a dealer be able to do this?
A: From the factory you cannot order the SE in Plum crazy purple. You can only get the SE in Tored, Inferno Red, Black, Silver, Titanium, White, Deep water blue. The color plum crazy purple only comes in the SRT8 which is the most expensive of the models.
Q: What do you think about the looks of a black Dodge Challenger SE without fog lamps?
I just ordered one. I think the fog lights on the challenger make it look amazing at night, but mine doesn’t have them. What’s your opinion on the cars looks if it is black, has17 inch Aluminum wheels and no fog lights?
A: I think you need to add the fog lights to the car. I never buy new vehicles without fog lights myself.
Q: Did the Dodge Challenger ever come with round exhaust cutouts throught the rear valence?
My Challenger has round exhaust tips and round cutouts in the rear valence where the tips come out, the previous owner said it was like that when he got it, but it looks like it came from the factory that way.
A: someone probably did that too it,i have owned 4 of those cars in my life time and none of them had the round outlets on them,i had two big blocks one hemi that did have the square outlet on it,not all of them came this way, here an example of one,,http://www.stockmopar.com/pictures/1970-rallye-red-plymouth-cuda.html this picture shows how they came ,look at the rear shot of this car its a perfect example, good luck.
Q: What are the reasons people want to buy a Dodge Challenger or Chevy Camaro?
Not too far out of college, I’m just starting to look at cars. I’ve heard a lot of buzz about the re-releases of the Challenger and Camaro. So I’m curious, for those who are considering buying them, what are your primary reasons? Is it to have fun driving? To make a statement? What kind of statement? As someone who isn’t a car guy (at least not yet) – would I come off as a “poser” with a challenger/camaro?
A: older guys want to remember their youth…the cars look good and run good,,,are fast…all the modern conveniences…and nothing sounds like a V8 at full tilt…

Q: How hard would it be to find a 74 Dodge Challenger?
Its my dream car and I’ve always wanted one. Mainly because my mom had one when I was growing up and I remember her spending each saturday washing her car and making it shine. She had to sell when my sister was born and I miss that car so I would like to have one of my own. I’ve been searching for a Challenger for a while now but I haven’t had any luck.
A: Hemmings Motor News
Old Car Trader
Classic car auctions like Barrett Jackson, Russo & Steele, Mecum, Silver, etc.
74’s are hard to find because that was the last year of production and not many were made.
Q: Dodge Challenger RT or Ford Mustang GT with a Supercharger?
I’m in the business of buying a new car, and i’ve just got done test driving both the Dodge Challenger RT (~370hp) and the Ford Mustang GT with a supercharger (400hp), and I was wondering, which would be a better car?
A: personally I would go with the Mustang:
-the future of Chyrsler is seriously in doubt and for certain a small production line like the Challenger may be cut (or at least the high performance models….and that means there will be a limited following of these cars by the after market product manufacturers.
-the Mustang modular 4.6 engine has been well proven and constantly upgraded. It is exceptionally strong. The Mustang is the most popular muscle car and has been in constant production for almost 45 yrs, and it has the largest following of after market producers OF ANY CAR, and likely will have for a long time….the whole basis of owning a Mustang is to modify and enhance it – that is the tradition of the breed.
whatever happens in the auto industry there will always be parts for a Mustang and always be performance opportunities, and they will be at a lower cost than any of the other products from either General Motors or Chyrsler….(last thing anyone would wnat to do today is order a new Camaro, it will likely be dead in the water within 2yrs.).
If you have had the Mustang checked out by a pro -shop (compression, running gear, etc) and if you have seen the service records….and all looks OK i would for certain go with the Pony.
Q: Which do you prefer, the retro Mustang or the new Dodge Challenger?
I’m talking about the Mustangs of the last three years and thew ‘08 Challenger. Please explain the rationale for your preference, if possible.
A: I prefer the Challenger. Just because…
Q: Were can i rent a 1970 dodge challenger?
Is there any place or website were i could rent a dodge challenger, in san diego or something close???
A: No where for now but wait till the new Dodge Challengers come out, it will be quit a blast from the past.
The answer to “where can i rent a 1970 dodge challenger”, I am afraid that if you did find someone that had this car IE: me, then the answer would be “NO” because of their value and the blood, sweat and tears that myself as well as many other people have put into the cars.
