used jeeps
Are you looking for a used jeeps for sale?
Q: I live in Bangalore and I want to know where I can buy Used Jeeps Army disposals also.?
I want to know where I can get Army disposal Jeeps in Bangalore? MM540, 550, CJ3B, WILLYS, FORD. Anything will do.
A: I did some web searching on your behalf, and United States Army surplus Jeeps are not terribly common in India. Back in the 1950’s-1970’s, there were magazine ads (worldwide) circulating that read, “Buy a surplus US Army Jeep in a crate for $50″; these were all primarily scams.
I found a website that sells US Army Jeeps. They have only one at the moment, and it needs major restoration, but keep checking. They are a bit pricey.

A company called Mahindra has been making Jeeps and Jeep-like vehicles for the Indian market for many years now, and you’ll likely have better luck tracking down a used Mahindra rather than an imported US-made Jeep.
Living there, you are probably more aware of this than I am.
Here are some results from my searching: I found some used Mahindra Jeeps listed at carwale.com.

Q: What type of motorbikes and Jeeps were used in world war 2?
A: The term Jeep came from the initials of the original model GPV, general purpose vehicle made in 1940.
In Britain the most used motorbike was the BSA, while in America it was the Harley Davidson.
My favourite bike was the one used by Steve Mcqueen in the Great Escape, Germany used BMW (what else?) bikes but the one Steve used was a modified Triumph 650 made to look like a BMW.

Q: Whats the difference between jeeps?
My dad and I were talking and he said a jeep wrangler would be a good vehicle for me but it would be a 5-speed and hard top. Whats the difference between a hard and soft top jeep? I know that a hard top is warmer in the summer and stuff but is one safer than the other or is there a significant difference? Also, whats a good price for a decent new or used jeep?
oh, and please dont give me an answer like ‘the soft top is softer than the hard.’ thanks
A: The soft top is like a convertible top. You can fold it down and go topless when the weather is nice, which I really enjoy. But the soft top can be quite noisy at highway speeds. The hard top can be taken off, but it needs to be unbolted and it takes at least two people to remove it. Then there is the issue of storing it. I doubt there is much difference between the hard top and soft top as far as summer heat goes. I had a dark soft top for a few years and it was pretty hot is the summer. And it was pretty cool in the winter. I don’t know where you live but in a colder climate the hard top might be nice in the winter. As for safety it pretty much a wash. As pointed out in a roll over the hard top is likely to broken or come off. No need to mention the soft top. But there are the roll bars to give some protection. Prices are all over the place. Check autotrader.com for the prices in your area. Hope this helps, enjoy your O|||||||O !!!!!!!!
Q: Why don’t we use jeeps to patrol the border area to try and monitor who comes in and out?
Why can’t we use jeeps to keep out the Taliban and whoever else is sneaking over with weapons and drugs?
Actually, I meant for Border Patrol to use jeeps.
A: Libs would claim its racist.
Q: How do I haggle a car salesman into lowering the price of a used car?
I am looking to buy a standard used Jeep Liberty or a Nissan X-terra preferrably. But I am still looking around. What are good tacticts to use and things I shouldnt let the dealer know? How should I act for the dealer to give me the lowest price?
A: You can’t haggle a salesman down on the price. The salesman will lower it to make a sale if he feels you’re ready to buy. But he’ll only lower it by so much.
I’ve been in the business over 30 years. Salesmen are very well trained in knowing how to bypass every objection you may have. How to deal with any price negotiating you try to do. And how to let you think you got the best of them … and yet they still made a good commission off you.
Once you find the car you want, offer $1000 off the asking price. There’s enough profit in used cars to sell at that and still allow the dealer and salesman to make something too. $1000 off is a fair price for everyone.
But here’s the key to this … be absolutely sure this is the car you want. This is the one you want to drive home. That’s when you hit him up with “Take $1000 off the asking price and I’ll buy it right now.” Don’t be arrogant, but business like. I’m sure he’ll take it since it is a fair deal. That eliminates all the haggling.
Once you find out what they offer for an APR based on your credit, you have to decide if that’s a decent rate. If you have any doubts, tell them you want an “option contract”. All dealers do it. This allows you up to 5 working days to shop for a lower rate. If you don’t find it, the deal goes through as previously agreed on.
If you can afford a newer model that’s certified, that would be your best bet. It comes with an extended warranty included and your best APR is on a certified used car.

Q: how much will it cost to buy a used jeep grand cherokee?
im looking to buy a car next summer and right now the 05′ used grand cherokees cost around 15,000. how much will it cost next summer, or will the price drop a lot?
A: Check the autotrader.com to see how much these cars are listed for. You can check 05 and 04 model years to get an idea. 15K sounds way too high for me. Last year I could have gotten a brand new Grand Cherokee for $21K
Q: Should I buy a used car with a new engine?
I’m looking into buying a used Jeep Liberty with 19,000 on a new engine. The car has a total of The car has a total of 109,490 miles when you include the miles in the old engine. They are selling it for about $9000. Is it worth it? Does a car with a new engine work like brand new?
A: I’ve found much of the quality of these kinds of car to be dependent on the level of the mechanic who did the work. And there’s the rub. I’ve found many mechanics these days can’t change oil correctly or unwilling to look up the information to do it right.
If the work was done by an expert (like the mechanics at the dealership who work on jeeps all day long), then you have a better chance of the work being done right. That’s not to say that I found all work done by the dealer done well. I am just going to assume something big like an engine swap to be given to the top mechanic (instead of the young blood just out of mechanics school).
===
Also, get some paper work verified. Don’t just trust the sellers because they say it has a new engine. Ask to get copies of the receipt of the new engine and verify the engine serial number.
One last thing: A car that had bad engine was driven by a person who did NOT take care of the WHOLE car.
===
I drive a 95 Civic with 182K miles and the car runs like new. So cars has the ability to run for hundreds of miles if taken care of.
Good Luck.

Q: What song is used in jeep commercial?

A: “Time of Our Lives” by Paul Van Dyke
Q: How much would a used jeep liberty be?
i’m 16 and i’m looking for a car! i’ve always wanted a jeep, i love them. so i looked at the 2009 jeep liberty & i loved it. but it’s way too much money so how much would like an old version of it be? (2004, 2005, 2006)
actually, if it’s cheaper to get a 2002 jeep liberty, then that’s okay too.
A: I’d find a nice used Jeep Cherokee (not the Grand Cherokee) It will have the beloved 4.0 inline six which will run 300,000+ miles. Also, It will have a solid front axle instead of the weak Independent front suspension of the Liberty. A solid front axle will give you improved off road capabilities and also be stronger to hold larger tires/lift. Long Live the XJ!!
Q: Why is December the best time to buy a used car?
Is it because of the snow, and no one wants to go car shopping? I’m asking this because I’m planning on buying a used Jeep Wrangler within the next year.
A: Sales in December are usually slow, as people are preparing for the holidays, and have limited cash to spend. Dealers in some areas also want to reduce inventory at the end of the year, so that they do not have to pay inventory tax.
The dealers also want to get as many sales into the year’s business, which makes the books look better if they need financing or business loans.
The one thing to consider is that 4 wheel drive vehicles sell better in the winter. You may want to look at making the purchase before the snow hits in your area.
